Double Deuces

Hot Summer Day = Swollen Pregnant Lady

WOW...it just keeps growing!  Can't believe another week has come and gone.  I tried to be creative and draw a spaghetti squash, but it really just looked like a skinny pumpkin. Some of these fruit and vegetable comparisons they come up with have me scratching my head - how did we go from banana to spaghetti squash?  I guess they are shooting for a comparison of length (head to rump) but still doesn't make much sense to me!

We are off to Naples on Tuesday through Saturday for work and play.  Pete has TWO tarpon trips that week so I will be making full use of the Ritz's facilities.  I believe a "mellow mamma" massage is in order!  Hope to report back with good beach pictures (no bathing suit shots for this bod) and a couple tarpon fights for Pete to brag about!

Baby Doyle in the Making

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes... a huge stomach while we grow baby Doyle!!

Here is a recap of the first half of this journey:

Can you believe I was so embarrassed by how "bloated" my belly was? HA!

Oh margaritas...how I've missed you...

Hitting the "safe zone" was the best feeling ever!

Again - I was shocked at the size of my stomach - boy was I in for a surprise!

Starting to feel like the people at the gym may think I'm pregnant and not rocking a beer gut

This week I felt my first little flutters - heaven!

Baby Doyle's first family vacation @ Dairymen's during Week 17!

Really starting to feel the "growing pains!'

Week 19 we were at Lido Beach for FERMA (a work conference)

Yay!! Halfway There!! (Can you tell I was exhausted that week?)

Clearly pregnant - no longer self conscious about my stomach at the gym - but clearly there are other areas to be overly aware of now.

We are both so in love and so excited to be on the back side of the pregnancy.  Preparations for Baby Doyle's arrival are in full swing.  Nursery furniture to be delivered in August and September.  Baby shower dates set - invitations will be out soon!  And I am pretty sure I've read every baby book, childbirth book and breastfeeding book available.  Pete is getting ready to learn how to be my birthing coach which is going to be an excellent adventure all of its own!  2012 is proving to be THE most exciting year of our lives!

We Did It

Can you feel the love?

As many of you know, the fervent wedding preparations paid off!  Bay Hill hosted our wedding without a hitch.  It was much like a college dormitory at the Lodge with all the Doyle family/friends running around - it was perfect.

There was a Friday night soiree so generously hosted by Annie & Jenny at our home to kick off the wedding festivities.  Between the stone crab and s'mores station, let's just say it was a hit!

Pete & I at the pre-wedding nibbles party!

Fire Roasted S'mores...be still my heart
Clearly Bill wanted to be front and center when the stone crabs were unveiled

Saturday night rehearsal at Big Fin brought out ALL the old secrets during "speech time" - which clearly with the Doyle family was more like "speech dinner".  There were clever, cutting and heartfelt speeches.  My favorite, of course, is when my father announced he was elated when Pete asked him if he could marry me.  His reasoning? So he could finally quit telling people his daughter was shacking up with some guy in Orlando! Gotta love dads!

Practicing our "I Do's"

Marty warming up for his big speech!
Between the Big Fin food and Family Speeches - the crowd was pleased

Finally on Sunday the big day was here, the boys golfed...

Nothing like a little post-golf hang out with Arnie

...the girls prepped at the house.

Just in case someone might've missed it

Getting prettied up is a team effort!

We couldn't have felt more blessed with all the love and support that surrounded us that weekend. We are forever grateful for everyone in our lives and look forward to sharing the next leg of the journey on  Masters Blvd.
