If You're Happy & You Know It Clap Your Hands

They're all mine.
Sometimes I think my heart might burst into a million little pieces because it's filled with so much happy.  "And you shall rejoice in all the good the Lord has given to you and to your house.." Deut. 26:11  Love that verse - so appropriate as all I can do is say thank you a million times over as I fall asleep.  On all the social media sites there are quotes about hating on people who look like they're happy - they must be faking or hiding terrible lives behind their pretty doors, being a mom sucks and is way too much work, blah blah blah.  Complaining about your blessings doesn't validate your life.  It's a bad habit and makes me feel guilty when I write anything positive for fear it may offend someone who thinks it's all a load of bull.  I really do love my husband, we really are over the moon for each other, I really am obsessed with my son and being a mom really makes me happy, life is really good. Y'all are whack and every life is filled with challenges but my eyes are on the prizes all around me.  So there.  Go suck on a rainbow.

We went to visit our besties at the beach this week!

Palmer en route with Ted & Clark to keep him company

Shooting some hoops - minor cheating

On a wagon ride

Sand took some getting use to for Mr. Golf Community.  Parker showed him how to be a real beach bum.

In their jammie's playing constantly.

Palmer will use anything as a golf club.
The visit couldn't have went any better.  The boys had a great time and I can't wait to do it again!

Back at the ranch, Palmer learned how to do this...

Going to get a cup of joe in the morning is no longer safe

He is still obsessed with this dog his buddy Brylin gave him months ago.
And now, as Palmer sleeps, I wait very impatiently to hear the news my friends made it home with their new bundle of joy Beckett Michael Smith!  They should be home within an hour and it will require every ounce of strength to wait until I get the green light and am invited over.  I need that sweet little 6 lbs 6 oz love bug in my arms stat.  I'm sure I will reminisce of the day we brought Palmer home and day dream of the day 6 months away when we bring home our new nugget of love.  There is just too much goodness.
